Fossil free fuel

All our buses run on the fossil-free fuel HVO, a renewable diesel made from residual products from the food industry.

Smart driving

Through the “Smart driving” initiative we have succeeded in reducing our fuel consumption by approximately 8%. To date. Our drivers are trained to drive more smoothly and avoid unnecessary stops and engine braking wherever possible. This means a more comfortable trip for you as a passenger and less stress for the drivers.

Thoughtful departures

Our bus departures are often adapted to flight arrivals and departures. This means that we do not make any unnecessary journeys. Therefore, you may need to wait a little while after boarding the coach in case we’re expecting passengers from another flight. We hope you understand.

Electric roads coming your way soon?

At Vy Flygbussarna, we are interested in new technology. We are part of an electric road initiative on Gotland where we during the summer 2021 tested to drive a coach between Visby airport and central Visby. In December the bus will be taken in traffic between Visby airport and Visby City. Keep your eys open!
